The purpose of this project is to demonstrate my ability in creating an eye catching emblem logo for an annual event or festival that needed some sprucing up. In creating a new logo, this allows for more recognition for the event, which results in a higher number of attendee's.
Sapporo 2024 Snow Festival is a week long fun-filled festival that takes place in Sapporo, Japan. However, there is no official logo set for this event, hence this project tackles that issue and the following is the progress for the final emblem logo.
The emblem logo consists of the famous Sapporo TV Tower that is in the heart of the city. It includes a cool color scheme and cultural aesthetics to best fit the festival and remain relevant.
What is a festival without any fun promotional items to give away? You can see the preliminary sketches done here to progress into fully mocked up promotional items.
A full set of branded items and merchandise is perfect for any large event or festival. In this case, shown here are just a few mock ups of what would be best for the snow festival, all branded appropriately.
Lastly, most festivals are expected to have some sort of sponsors and well, Coca-Cola has a huge market in Japan and would be a great sponsor for the event. For such an occasion, a branded soda can would be perfect.
